I love Channel 4 and its associated channels. They are constantly keeping up with trends in every way they can. From the introduction of Adult Swim shows, such as Rick and Morty to Scandinavian Thrillers like Alex.
Whilst browsing on Channel 4’s streaming/catch up service I recently discovered that there is now an anime selection. This is exciting news, especially if you’re new to anime and don’t know where to start. There is a wide selection of old and new anime, with classics such as Cowboy Bebop and the ever-popular Tokyo Ghoul. There’s 100 hours of anime available to watch for free.

The anime are not the easiest to find on the website. There is no animation, cartoon or anime category to choose from when you are searching, and a general search for ‘anime’ results in nothing. That being said it’s a small price to pay for free anime! If you want to watch a new series that you may not know the name of the easiest way is to search for one of the well-known anime titles above and scroll down to the ‘People also watched’ tab, this might help you discover a new anime. You can also search online to see which series are being shown on All4. I think that this move by All4 is awesome and I’m looking forward to seeing what other anime titles will be released next!
