Welcome to Cardiff Life Drawing
Cardiff Life Drawing classes are run by Turnip Starfish. This academic taught life drawing class is for individuals at any level who want to push their drawing skills. In our Life Drawing class in Cardiff we will start with a small drawing demonstration exploring drawing structure and anatomy by respected drawing lecturer Nick Price, you will be drawing a nude model. You will do a mixture of quick, mid length and long drawing poses.
In our How to draw the figure for adults class you will draw from reference materials of both the clothed figure and the nude figure, learning from images on a monitor and print outs. You will explore portraits, anatomy, structure, weight balance and different techniques of drawing whist studying other artist work. There will be a mixture of basic drawing materials and paper available in all of our classes, you are welcome to bring your own materials.

Director of animation at Turnip Starfish Nick Price has been a guest speaker and lecturer at numerous colleges, universities, and animation studios across the UK.
