Week 1
The first week is complete and what an awesome week we have had. The participants were all amazing, working really hard developing their ideas, storyboarding, making the characters and sets then filming all their own animation and adding sounds effects for the edit. And this was just the first week! Three more weeks of animation workshops.
Week 2
Another amazing week. Thanks all. The young people made everything! created storyboards, design sheets. They built all their own characters and backgrounds then did all their own animation filming. At the end we helped with the edit and they recorded their own sound effects. Great week! Two more to go! Can’t wait?
WEEK 3
These are the films for week 3 of our Cardiff Animation Academy. We had a really creative group this week, lots of drawers! Which was fantastic. So the group created a mix of cut-out animation and traditional drawing animation. We hope you enjoy, we thought the films were awesome. Well done everyone.

WEEK 4
We’ve had an awesome four weeks running the Cardiff summer animation academy. We’ve worked with over 50 young people and had a truly fun and creative time.
