Autumn/Fall Anime 2019

This year’s Autumn/Fall anime releases mostly consists of continuations of existing series. For example, my top three anime to watch are all season 4 of their respective anime. This isn’t a bad thing though. For anime fans this means that something that you’ve been waiting with bated breath for may appear in this list. Beginners to anime may want to take note of these programmes as making it to a fourth season is pretty good going and means that these anime are loved and highly recommended by the anime community.
So, what’s in store for us in 2019? I’m trying to say this without exploding with excitement…

My Hero Academia (Boku no hero Academia) season 4 is finally here!!!
I am extremely excited for the next instalment of MHA. I’m a huge fan of the anime and manga, and due to reading the manga, I know what’s in store for season 4! The word epic is an understatement for season 4, if, that is, it follows the manga! The story is high impact with some excellent plot twists as well as some rather comedic moments for those who failed to get their ‘Hero Licence’. I am sure that the anime will do the manga justice as it certainly has in the three previous seasons. If you haven’t watched My Hero Academia before, I highly recommend watching all of the other seasons before the 12th of October so you can join in with the hype!
Release date 12th October, 2019 in Japanese and English.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods (season 4) Meliodas is back with his team once again. Protecting the Kingdom and its people from a new wave of demons or even Gods? There is speculation that this may be the final series. We will have to watch to find out!
Release date 9th October 2019 in Japanese and early 2020 on Netflix dubbed.

Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma: Shin no Sara season 4. I enjoy watching Food Wars! As the name suggests, it is an anime about food. However, it also consists of complex relationships between classmates and rivals in the food industry. Unfortunately, I managed to miss part 2 of season 3 somehow so I will be cramming that in over the next couple of weeks ready to watch season 4!
Release date 11th October 2019 in Japanese. Dubbed TBA.

Also coming this Autumn is the English dub of Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba). I have watched it in subbed and absolutely loved it, but it will be great to watch it in dubbed so that I can concentrate more on the beautiful animation. The release date for this has not yet been revealed, but here’s the trailer for it!
